Celebrating 104 Years of Service to the Detroit Community

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Detroit Alphas website. We are the third oldest Alumni Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, chartered in Detroit, Michigan on March 22, 1919. We are committed to service and excellence in every endeavor. Please take time to view the site to learn about our fraternity and chapter history, and our many community service programs. Also, please connect with our social media channels to keep up with our entertainment and service offerings.

Our fraternity house, The Historic Alpha House, was place on the National Register of Historic Places on August 26, 2021 for our historical significance and role in the cultural and social life of the Detroit Community. The Alpha House was previously listed as a Michigan Historic Site in 1977.

The Detroit Alphas are actively seeking partners to work with us to serve our community in a stronger and more effective way. If you are interested, click on contact us and send us your information. A-Phi!
