It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the chairman of the 2023 Inaugural Breakfast for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated Gamma Lambda Chapter to present and swear in our 50th President Brother Harry C. Todd, Chapter Officers, and Board Members. We will also pay tribute to our 49th President Brother Alburn H. Elvin, Jr. for his outstanding leadership of the back-to-back Outstanding Alumni Chapter of the Year. Additionally, we will honor Brother Donald Snider for his decades of contributions to Gamma Lambda Chapter and the Fraternity. Also, we will highlight the legacy our dear Brother Presidents Kenneth Jordan, 41st President and Jesse Goodwin, 32nd President.

As our 50th President Brother Harry C. Todd takes the helm along with his Executive Board, we look forward to his vision and guidance.

We thank all Brothers and guests for your support of this celebration and for the many ways you have supported and partnered with us in our efforts to improve the quality life in our community.

About the author

Brian Williams: Initiated into Gamma Lambda Chapter in the Fall of 2008. He serves as the Chapter Historian and is a Co-Chair of the Midwestern Region Historical Commission. Brother Williams has a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a M.Ed in Instructional Technology from Wayne State University.
