Chapter Presidents
The Gamma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity has been led by an exceptional group of men. All served during different periods of Detroit’s storied history-from the founding of Dunbar Memorial Hospital in the late 1910s, the Civil Rights Movement in the 1940s and 1950s, hospital desegregation in the 1960s, urban renewal in 1980s and 1990s, through our chapter centennial in 2019-all have been strong community leaders. We honor our past presidents for their years of dedicated service to the chapter and the Detroit community.
